1 ARRIVAL IN SANTIAGO
Your guide will pick you up at Santiago airport and drive you to your hotel. You can choose to spend the day exploring Santiago on your own or to do a guided bike tour through Old Santiago: Barrio Yungay, Plaza Brasil, Quinta Normal, Estación Central, Palacio La Moneda and Barrio Lastarria.

2 SANTIAGO – PUNTA ARENAS – MILODON CAVE – LAKE SOFIA
Transfer to the airport and flight to Punta Arenas, located in the heart of Chilean Patagonia and at the shores of the Magellan Strait. Two-hour drive to Puerto Natales, where we start biking to the Milodon Cave. This is a national monument where the remains of milodons and herbivores, which lived in Patagonia 10,000 years ago, were found in 1896. After visiting the cave, we keep biking to the shores of Lake Sofía, where our base camp is waiting for us and local gauchos welcome us with a delicious Patagonian barbecue.

3 LAKE SOFÍA – TORRES DEL PAINE
Biking day over dirt roads to Torres del Paine National Park. 6 to 7 hours of biking across a landscape made of lakes, mountains and the Patagonian wild forests. As soon as we enter the park, we can see the mountains of the Paine Massif: Paine Grande, Cuernos del Paine, The Fortress and others.

4 TORRES DEL PAINE NATIONAL PARK
We cross the park by bike, 5 to 6 hours, visit lakes and waterfalls on the way and have fantastic views over the Paine Massif.

5 TREK TORRES DEL PAINE
8-hour trek (round trip) to the Lago Las Torres at the foot of the impressive Torres del Paine, 3 pink granite peaks considered to be among the most difficult climbs in the world.

6 ESTANCIA PAINE – LAGUNA AZUL
Biking day around the Paine Massif, following the Paine River, in a region populated by Guanacos (Lama Guanicoe) and a wide variety of birds. We set up our camp near the Laguna Azul.

7 LAGUNA AZUL – CALAFATE
Car transfer to Calafate (5 hours). We are now in Argentina at the shores of Lago Argentino in the heart of southern Patagonia. After we have dropped off the luggage at the lodge, we visit the village where you can find souvenirs and gifts to bring home and some great restaurants for dinner.

8 CALAFATE – LAGO ROCA
Biking day. We take the Road 15 along the Patagonian steppe to Lago Roca (50km, 5 to 6 hours). Our camp is in a very comfortable spot at the shores of Lake Roca inside Los Glaciares National Park.

9 LAGO ROCA – PERITO MORENO – LAGO ROCA
Another biking day. From our campsite, we have 60 km to go (half the way is on dirt roads and half is paved) to the Perito Moreno Glacier. The Perito Moreno Glacier surpasses all expectations. We will witness the amazing show of the glacier constantly crashing up against the peninsula. In the afternoon, you can choose to bike back to the camp or to use the vehicles.

10 LAGO ROCA – EL CHALTEN
Perito Moreno Glacier and the Chalten area are part of the huge and impressive Los Glaciares National Park. Today, we drive to La Leona, from where we ride our bikes along Lago Viedma with beautiful views of the Viedma Glacier falling into the lake. At the end, we will be able to see Cerro Fitz Roy and Cerro Adele, and, with a bit of luck, even get a glimpse of Cerro Torre.

11 CERRO FITZ ROY TREK
Trekking day: 8 to 9 hours circuit from El Pilar to Laguna de Los Tres and back to El Chalten. At Laguna de los Tres, we are only a few meters away from the glacier and very close to the granite walls of Cerro Fitz Roy and Poincenot Peak.

12 CERRO TORRE TREK
Easy, but beautiful and impressive trek from El Chalten to the foot of Lake Torre and very close to Cerro Torre (7 hours return).

13 El CHALTEN – LAGUNA DEL DESIERTO – EL CHALTEN
Biking day. 60km round trip to Laguna del Desierto following a narrow dirt road through a beautiful landscape: rivers, lagoons, mountains, and forest which, at this time of the year, will be green with huge patches of red and yellow.

14 EL CHALTEN – CALAFATE – BUENOS AIRES
Transfer to Calafate and flight to Buenos Aires.

15 DEPARTURE FROM BUENOS AIRES
Entire day to explore the world’s Tango capital on your own. At the end of the day transfer to the airport and flight home.
