Description
The El Franciscano Lagoon is a mountain lake in the heart of the Central Andes, located at 3,600m behind the summit of the La Parva ski resort and surrounded by high mountains. On this day trip, you will be able to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Santiago, the Central Valley, and the surrounding 4,000m and 5,000m peaks such as the Plomo (5,400m), one of the many mountains of ceremonial value along the Inca trail. This area is also famous for its unique flora and wildlife, offering a home to a large variety of birds and the Zorro Culpeo (Andean fox).
